Foxy Box
With 18 studios, Foxy Box has grown from a local waxing business into a multi-location hair removal franchise. That growth creates an interesting search challenge: every studio needs to compete in its own local market while still benefiting from the strength of the larger brand. Our work focused on building an SEO strategy that can do both. We’ve strengthened the website’s local presence across studio markets, expanded the range of searches Foxy Box can appear for, and improved key pages to make the path from Google to booking as clear as possible.

The Brief
Search demand for hair removal goes well beyond someone typing in a service and a city. Potential clients have questions about treatments, preparation, results, differences between services, and what to expect long before they choose where to book. That gave us two opportunities: improve how individual studios compete for location-specific searches and build greater visibility around the wider category. We optimized studio and service pages around relevant local demand, improved page structure and on-site experience, and developed an ongoing content program informed by keyword and topic research. Together, that work gave Foxy Box more opportunities to appear throughout the research process while keeping bookings at the centre of the website experience.
The Results
Within the first year, revenue attributed to organic search increased by 17%, showing that stronger search visibility was translating into meaningful business growth. At the same time, blog traffic grew by 247%, significantly expanding the audience Foxy Box could reach beyond people already looking for a nearby studio or specific treatment. Together, the results created a more balanced organic presence: individual locations are better positioned to capture local demand, while educational content gives the brand a much larger footprint across the broader hair removal category. As Foxy Box continues to grow, that foundation can support both existing studios and expansion into new markets.
