Site architecture, page hierarchy, headings, copy, internal links, page speed, mobile performance, metadata, schema, crawlability and content structure all help search engines understand a website. They also happen to make websites easier for humans to use. Funny how often those two things go together. That means a Geeks website starts with a stronger search foundation from day one. SEO is a lot easier to sell when you never have to prove it on your own business. We’d rather experiment, learn and test on ourselves first. It’s one of the ways we’ve developed our approach over the years, and it keeps our team very familiar with what it feels like to compete for rankings in the real world. We know what it’s like when competitors start creeping up the page. We take it personally.

Built for people and robots
A gorgeous website can look very different once you strip away the photography, animation and clever design. So we built a tool that does exactly that.
Our Search Spider Simulator removes the visual layer of a webpage and reveals the information search engines use to make sense of it. Headings, page titles, links, copy, hierarchy and other important signals become much easier to inspect when there’s nowhere for them to hide. Think of it as an X-ray for your website. We use it to help identify pages where important information is buried, headings aren’t doing their job, content hierarchy is unclear, or the visual experience tells a much stronger story than the underlying page does. And because we’d rather explain SEO than hide behind technobabble, we’re happy to pull it up and walk through your website with you!
We’ve watched SEO evolve from blue links and ten simple search results into maps, featured snippets, shopping results, videos, AI Overviews and conversational search.
We’ve also watched plenty of SEO shortcuts come and go. Keyword stuffing. Exact-match everything. Questionable backlink schemes. Content written for robots instead of customers. Whatever trick happens to be making the rounds this year.
We’ve never been particularly interested in tricks.
